How do I activate my card?

After successfully applying for a PODERcard Debit, the card usually takes around 5 to 7 business days to reach your home address by mail. When you receive your card, activate it immediately to begin leveraging all its benefits!

Below are the steps to follow to activate it.

Note: Have your card at hand as the system will ask for information about it.

Step 1. Log into your PODERcard application and go tap on Home in the bottom menu. There you will see the option "Card Activation", tap on that and you'll see the screen below. Tap on "Get started"

Step 2. Select an ATM pin number and make sure to remember it. 

Important Note: It is important that you choose a number that you will remember. To ensure your account remains protected do not share it.

Step 3. On the next screen, re-enter the PIN you used on the previous screen to confirm it.

Step 4. Fill in the information that appears on the screen. Enter your card number, expiration date (Month/Year), as well as the CVV code.

Step 5. You will see a confirmation screen after you have successfully entered all the relevant informations. Congratulations, you've activated your card!
